Stone Maintenance and Care
Safe Solutions for Stain Removal From Stone
Make sure your countertops and other stone surfaces last a long time with the right care and maintenance. To help you do just that, Renaissance Marble Works offers some tips for you to follow. Don’t use hard products or chemicals containing vinegar, lemon, or other acids. Rather, use a soft cloth and mild dish soap for everyday cleaning.
While sealing is usually reapplied every 1 to 4 years or so, that may not be necessary if you follow our recommendations. You’ll still be able to keep your counters looking like new for years, and you’ll save money, too.
To eliminate tough stains from stone surfaces safely, create a mixture of Clorox and baking powder. Leave it to sit on the counter or surface overnight. Repeat as necessary. Or, try a solution of white vinegar and water to remove streaks, oils, and smudges.
If the stone darkens when wet or if liquids soak into the surface quickly, turn to us for prompt and affordable service. Rely on our 35+ years of experience to keep your countertops in great shape. We know how to deal with stains, scratches, chips, and more.
